With only two more invitations before the start of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) tournament starts up, the Rangers are coming off of a sixth place finish at the Rose-Hulman Invitational. On a par of 72, Redshirt Junior Danny Wojtowicz shot one under par for a score of 71, which was a best for the Rangers that day and got him to 14th overall at the invitational. Senior Ian Nebendahl also shot well finishing with a 75 overall and finished the invitational coming in 25th place. As a team the Rangers finished 6th of 14 teams with a combined score of 631, 1st place was tied between Kalamazoo College and Transylvania University who both shot 603 over the two days.
Rangers Gear Up For End of Season
The Rangers have only two more invitationals before the season officially ends and post season play begins. Starting on April 9, the Rangers will travel down to the Purgatory Golf Course in Noblesville, Indiana for the Purgatory Midwest Invitational. After that two day invitational, the Rangers have an invitational set up against Marquette University, but the details have not been announced. Starting on April 23, the GLVC championship tournament starts and all schools in the GLVC go but the Rangers hope for a strong showing.
