Foreign Film Series– Pride. 7:30 P.M. Student Center Cinema. Interested in foreign films? Come watch Pride, a movie about the UK miners’ strike of 1984-85, and an unlikely ally who showed support for the miners.

Russian for Beginners 1- 7 – 9 P.M. Tallent hall – Room 281 Instructor Ana Igornov teaches the basics of the Russian language. This is course is intended to introduce Russian culture, history, literature, and aspects of contemporary society. No previous knowledge of the Russian language is required. This six week course has a $79 fee.

March 4

Hedda Gabler- 7:30 P.M. Black Box Theatre, The Rita. Henrik Ibsen’s classic femme fatale masterpiece

Berea College Choir Concert -7:30 The Rita – Bedford Concert Hall. A vocal ensemble of 60 undergraduate men and women performing sacred and secular choral literature in multiple languages from a range of historical periods, with selections from many different genres.

March 5

Fruit Tree Care 101- 9:00-12:00 P.M. Tallent Hall – Orchard Room. Gary Ostermiller teaches how to care for your fruit tree for the best possible results. There is a $29 fee for this event.

March 6

Racine Symphony Orchestra “Purely Classical”- 3:00 The Rita – Bedford Concert Hall. Special Guest Artist for this concert, Frances Bedford, will perform Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto #3 on the harpsichord. The Orchestra will also perform Mozart’s Serenata Notturno, Telemann’s Don Quixote Suite and Haydn’s Symphony #43.
